From the author, "Each recipe was inspired by my grandmothers and mothers baking and the love for cooking. When I was a little girl, I used to be my grandmother’s cooking assistant in the kitchen: beating the eggs, mixing the icing, licking the bowls... and learning baking techniques. I knew desserts were a big favorite of hers because nobody could surpass her in her cakes, parfaits and sweet creations. She had pages and pages of recipes,all handwritten through the years. Sweet Traditions fulfills my desire to share some of these family traditions that had been in my sweetest memories for years. I hope you enjoy them as all of them are special and will give you a taste of a different baking tradition."
